Power Dungeon is an NFT role-playing game (RPG) with elements of dungeon escape, map stitching, and treasure hunting. With over 20,000 maps and 8 kinds of terrains, players can discover various mechanisms within the game. Players will experience three different roles in Power Dungeon: Draftsmen, Adventurers, and Scavengers — each represents a different function in the gameplay. Adventurers need to overcome obstacles in the dungeon using characters’ attributes and equipment and exit the dungeon in order to gain rewards. They can consume resources obtained from the adventure process to upgrade their level and attributes. Scavengers, in the contrast, will have to guard the dungeon territory for the map owners (aka Draftsmen.) All map holders get to harvest the growth of their assets by sharing earnings with players that have visited the map territory.
To begin the Power Dungeon adventure, players will have to own at least one NFT asset, which can be generated algorithmically as maps and characters. The game is designed and developed on Avalanche & MATIC cross-chain bridge to synchronize user assets and NFTs.
THE DUNGEON VISION
Own the game
Power Dungeon is designed to embrace the decentralized spectrum where players are a part of the gameplay development. The game is extensively composed of map NFTs, each of which is owned by players. With that said, players together will take possession of the game’s fate with regard to the in-game assets they hold.
Open Community
Taking advantage of the composable nature of map NFTs, players can even stitch the Power Dungeon map with maps/assets from other on-chain projects to optimize the entertainment experience. Power Dungeon encourages NFT avatars from the metaverse to explore the dungeon world and interact with traveler NFTs.
The vision for this project is to create a game community that is genuinely player-driven and open-source by providing players with game components. At the same time, Power Dungeon allows players to use imagination to create, dream and solve problems in an unpredictable, extremely open, and decentralized game community.
MAP NFTs
In the first phase of the game, a total of 3438 Genesis Maps will be released that can be minted as NFTs, each Genesis Map represents a type of dungeon that is composed of different elements (e.g. terrains, obstacles, doors.) General Maps, derived from Genesis Maps, will be open to players for further minting and creating in the later phase. No two maps look the same, and players’ endless imagination will eventually shape the mysterious underworld.
CHARACTER NFTs
Each character NFT is differentiated with 11 appearance features and up to 50,000 unique characters can be minted in the dungeon. Keep in mind this type of hard cap can be minted without any limits on ownership.
ABOUT US
Power Dungeon is an on-chain role-playing game project based on NFT assets that allows players to complete maze escapes and gain earnings. Players shall experience various gameplay such as stitching dungeon maps, building dungeon territories, getting over various obstacles, and crafting unique equipment in a non-closed dungeon environment setting.
The Power Dungeon adventure doesn’t end here, we will continue to develop the storyline and progressively shift from the underground world to the entire metaverse. All community content can be initiated and constructed by players. We look forward to enhancing community ownership and participation, while enabling players to interact directly from different web3 projects.
